IPhone 3gs or IPhone 4g?

I need a cell phone. Shoudl i wait for the next iphone or just get the iphone 3gs. It is supposed to come out in june, so when will it be in canada? coz canada just got iphone 3gs in feb. so when will the next iphone be in canada and how much? plus if i get the iphone 3gs i can get all the system updates by buying the 4g software. how much $ will the new iphone be?
